I’ve been eyeing this bag for quite sometime now. Anyone got $348 bucks to spare? Plus there’s a PS3 to think about too. D:

Birdie

I wish I had a chance to take a better photo of this, but as you can see I was on the highway (I wasn’t the driver of course). Doesn’t it look like a bird? I thought it was pretty cool.

J’aime Vieux-Québec!

I was recently on a road trip vacation with my family driving from Toronto to northern New York; Waterbury, Vermont; New Hampshire; Portland, Maine then our final destination was Québec. All I can say is that Québec City is gorgeous — the scenery, the food and the little stores to shop at. If you’re visiting the province of Québec, go to Québec City, not Montréal. :)

I love the bright and bold colors of the buildings and shops. You’d get dizzy just looking for a place to eat!

Collections

I recently created numerous pages of all the items I own from video games, books, films, etc. They’re mainly for my own reference and amusement, but for the interested or curious, feel free to take a peek. I have to say it’s quite embarrassing though. Anyway, just turn to your right and view the pages under the column titled “Pages”.

Special A / S・A(スペシャル・エー)

Second post of the day!

I’ll be picture spamming the first few minutes of the eighth episode of a new anime I’ve been watching. I haven’t been into an anime in so long, but I like shoujo series and Special A is so hilarious and cute, where typical boy crushes on a dense girl or vice versa and bishounens everywhere. I also started reading the manga version as well.

Excuse the low quality of the images, hehe.

Reminds me of Ouran High School Host Club! Just look at that pose and uniforms.

Breaking Dawn

I am anticipating for Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer, which comes out in August 2, because it’s the finale of the Twilight saga and Edward and Bella’s (even ol’ Jacob’s) story comes to an end. It is a great series and a fun read, if you enjoy vampire stories and sappy romances — like me.

< Edited since other ideas came up and while I was commenting a friend in my LJ, haha (it’s obvious I haven’t played chess in so long /fail). :P >

Now, like most of her past covers there’s always a metaphor (which I’m curious about) and I really adore this artwork. I’m not much of a chess player, but I do know each of the pieces’ role and I’m a fan of the whole theme of it incorporated in various stories. It’s also used in another vampire series, Vampire Knight, by Matsuri Hino and, ahah, Kaname Kuran is the manipulative queen, while Zero Kiryu is the knight. As for Meyer’s interpretation, Bella is probably the queen and it is the most powerful piece in the game and she is the main character. The pawn? Hmm it is red and might be representing the color for vampires, but err, it’s so weak and we’ll just have to figure out what that means later on.

Also notice how the letter “k” in “Breaking”, points to the white queen piece. The last syllable of “breaking” spells out “king”. Pretty cool, me thinks. Edward is the king?? Haha.

I also have a few more ideas about the upcoming book and the meaning behind the title, but I won’t jump to conclusions now and be proven otherwise. I’ll read the book first, haha.

Introductions

Why hello there! This is my first post for this place and I guess I’ll be talking about what Sound Syndrome is, and its current look. It’s just another one of my many non-personal blogs and a bit similar to my now abandoned VOX. You can read more in my About page.

I created and edited the banner myself using a single cover artwork from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s “Kimi to iu Hana (君という花).” They’re my favorite Japanese rock band and isn’t the illustration pretty? The WordPress theme is by Just Skins.

More posts coming soon, when I get myself organized for topics.
